Know Sure Thing

The Know Sure Thing (KST) is a momentum oscillator developed by Martin J. Pring. The KST calculates the smoothed rate-of-change for four different time frames and then combines them into a single oscillator. The indicator is designed to identify major market cycles, and it can be used to generate buy and sell signals.

When used with trading bots like HaasOnline, the KST can be used as part of a trading strategy to identify trending markets and to help determine the timing of entry and exit points. Bots can be programmed to generate buy signals when the KST crosses above its signal line, indicating bullish momentum, and sell signals when the KST crosses below its signal line, indicating bearish momentum. Additionally, bots can be programmed to adjust their trading strategy based on changes in the KST’s slope and amplitude, which can help to identify changes in market momentum and trend direction.
